Implant Expectations

For tooth replacement, there no solution that is more durable than a dental implant. As a comprehensive solution, they address both the visible missing tooth and the missing tooth root under the gums.

Dental implants are a titanium post-screw designed to replace one or more missing teeth. The implant itself is an artificial tooth root placed in the jawbone which will support the various dental treatments & restoratives (Crowns, Bridges, Over Dentures).

After the implant has been placed in the jawbone, the bone must attach to and grow around the implant. This takes the bone three to six months to adhere. Once the jawbone has attached to the dental implant, then the restoration can begin to be completed.
